Ryan Ransom | CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™️
Description
Raymond James – Ryan Ransom, CFP®, ChFC®, AAMS®
I strive to be the best man, husband and father possible, so I can help others become the best versions of themselves. My mission in life is to love others and make a positive impact in their lives. As a result, I help a select group of highly successful professionals and business owners who aspire to make a positive impact, live a work optional lifestyle and leave a legacy for their family and community.
As a financial advisor, my goal is to understand what’s important to you. We use an established process to help you organize, build, insure and one day transfer your wealth.
I began my career as a financial advisor at Edward Jones in August of 2015 and was there until January of 2022. During my time there, I earned the AAMS® professional designation in December of 2018 from the College for Financial Planning. In 2021, I earned the CFP® designation* and in early 2022 I earned the Chartered Financial Consultant® designation through the American College for Financial Planning. In January of 2022, I transitioned my business and affiliated with Raymond James Financial Services as an independent financial advisor, teaming up with Oak Crest Advisors.
Originally from Virginia, I have lived in Texas since 2003. I attended the University of North Texas and graduated magna cum laude in 2007 with a bachelor’s in music education. Music is still a big part of my life and my wife, Amanda, is still a music educator. I have three children, Charlotte, Michael and Eleanor. I have lived in the Austin area since 2008. Active in my church community, St. Vincent de Paul, I lector on Sunday mornings and am a member of the Knights of Columbus. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, music, climbing, good food, movies and a good book.
How may I be of help?
